About Me
I have spent much of my career working with people to navigate complex situations, recognize their strengths, and make decisions with greater confidence.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Registered Nurse, Educator, and professionally trained Coach. Over several decades, I have worked with children, adolescents, college students, adults, couples, and families facing relationship difficulties, major life transitions, anxiety, depression, substance use, burnout, trauma, all kinds of medical conditions, caregiving demands, professional stress, and the accumulated strain of carrying too much for too long.
Does This Resonate?
The clients drawn to my work are often thoughtful, capable, and courageous. Many are highly responsible, creative, independent-minded, or accustomed to being the person others rely on. They may appear confident and successful while privately questioning their choices, minimizing their needs, or remaining in situations that no longer serve them.
What I Bring
I bring professional experience, intellectual curiosity, honesty, and deep respect for the people I work with. I am interested not only in what is difficult, but also in the intelligence, creativity, resilience, and possibility that may be obscured by self-doubt, exhaustion, or years of adapting to other people’s expectations.
I believe people are inherently brilliant and remarkable. Counseling is not about reshaping you into someone more acceptable. It is about understanding what has been keeping you stuck, freeing energy for creativity and connection, and making choices that are genuinely your own.
My work is warm, collaborative, candid, and purposeful. Clients can expect genuine support, professional honesty, thoughtful challenge, and a relationship grounded in respect.
I consider it a privilege to work with people as they see themselves more clearly and recognize the courage, intelligence, creativity, and potential that have been there all along.
